“I believe the Bible because it is a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They report to us supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophesy and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin” -Voddie Baucham
This is derived from 2 Peter 1:16-21.
Note the “historical documents” and references to eyewitnesses who can verify.
I know next to nothing about what Jordan Peterson has said about Christianity. I know he has in the past made use of biblical stories in his teaching.
I have heard his wife converted to Catholicism after what she and he believed was a miracle.
Maybe someone could elaborate on the specifics of what he believes. I find it impossible for anyone to deny the resurrection if they believe in God. Even if Jesus was just a mortal, the resurrection would be a no brainer if there was a God.
Well said Barry.
